Legal
Terms of Use
1. About Dailance
These Terms of Use govern access to Dailance, a personal budgeting application operated by Oleg Pyrchenkov as an individual developer (“Dailance,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using Dailance, you agree to these Terms.
Dailance helps users create monthly financial plans, record expenses, calculate daily budgets and carry-over, and view basic spending analytics.
2. Eligibility and user responsibility
You may use Dailance only if you can legally agree to these Terms and your use is permitted by applicable law. You must be at least 18 years old. Dailance is not intended for children or minors under 18. You are responsible for your use of Dailance and for complying with laws that apply to you.
3. Account registration and security
You must provide an email address you are authorized to use and create a password. You are responsible for keeping your password and device secure and for activity through your account. Please notify us promptly at support@dailance.com if you suspect unauthorized access. Email verification may be required before the account can be used.
4. Financial information disclaimer
Dailance is not a bank, financial adviser, investment adviser, tax adviser, legal adviser, accountant, or lender. Dailance does not provide financial, investment, tax, legal, accounting, or lending advice. Nothing in the service is a recommendation to enter into a transaction or make a particular financial decision.
5. Budget calculations are informational
Budget, savings, carry-over, and analytics calculations are informational tools based on the information you supply. Calculations may be affected by incomplete or incorrect information, rounding, software errors, or service interruptions. You remain responsible for checking important information and making your own financial decisions.
6. User-entered financial data
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the names, amounts, dates, categories, plans, and other information you enter. You retain your rights in that information. You give us a limited permission to host, process, back up, transmit, and display it only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, maintain, and improve Dailance.
Dailance does not currently connect to bank accounts or automatically import bank transactions. Do not enter information you do not have the right to use.
7. Acceptable use
You must not misuse Dailance. In particular, you must not:
- use Dailance for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activity;
- attempt to access another person’s account or data;
- interfere with the service or bypass security or access controls;
- upload or distribute malicious code; or
- reverse engineer the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
8. Intellectual property
Dailance and its software, design, branding, and content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms give you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable right to use the service as intended. They do not transfer ownership of Dailance or your own user-entered information.
9. Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep Dailance available, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may maintain, change, add, or remove features, or suspend part or all of the service. Where reasonably possible, we will communicate material changes that significantly affect users or their data.
10. Account suspension or termination
We may limit, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address a security risk, prevent misuse, comply with law, protect users or the service, or discontinue Dailance. Where appropriate and legally permitted, we will try to provide notice.
11. Account deletion
You can request account deletion from inside the Dailance application. Deletion is processed asynchronously and, once finalized, access to the account and its associated personal financial data will no longer be available. See Delete Account for instructions and the Privacy Policy for more information about data handling.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Dailance is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the service will always be available, secure, accurate, or suitable for every purpose. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer guarantees or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of or inability to use Dailance, or for financial decisions made using its informational calculations. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a right, remedy, guarantee, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including where a limitation for deliberate misconduct would be invalid.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect service, legal, or operational changes. We will update the “Last updated” date and provide additional notice when reasonably required. Your continued use after revised Terms take effect means you accept them to the extent permitted by law.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia. This choice does not limit any mandatory consumer rights or remedies available under applicable law, including the law of the country where you live. A dispute may be brought before any court or other body that has jurisdiction under applicable law.
